Matt is licensed as a General Building Contractor, Electrician, and Plumber. He is also a licensed Real Estate Broker and approaches projects with a broader perspective considers long-term building value.
For over 33 years, Matt has focused extensively on Victorian homes, developing an expertise in their structure, systems, and historical details. His work blends restoration and modern functionality.
Deep Elm focuses on high quality work, with a special attention to the infrastructure of your project and the work you don’t necessarily see — this is just as valuable as the beauty of the space.
Matt’s dream is for one (or more) of his three daughters to take over Deep Elm one day. Hopefully they’ll rock the red suspenders, too.
